HighLevel vs Vendasta for white-label reselling

Two very different business models. One is a flat platform fee; the other is a monthly minimum spent on products you resell.

This page contains affiliate links to HighLevel. Disclosure.

HighLevel and Vendasta both let agencies sell software to local businesses under their own brand. They are built on different models, so the right choice depends on how you want to make money. All prices below come from each company's own pricing page.

The short answer

  • Choose HighLevel if you want one flat platform fee, unlimited client accounts, and to sell your own branded CRM subscription with automated signups (SaaS Mode on the $497 Agency Pro plan).
  • Choose Vendasta if you want to resell a catalog of ready-made products (its own reputation and listings tools plus third-party marketplace products) at wholesale prices, and you are comfortable with a monthly minimum and, for white-labeling, a one-year contract.

How Vendasta's minimum works

Vendasta says it has no subscription. You pick a monthly minimum ($99, $499 or $999) and spending on qualifying Vendasta products for your clients counts toward it. If you spend less, you pay the difference. Third-party marketplace purchases do not count toward the minimum, and unused amounts do not roll over (Vendasta pricing FAQ).

In other words, Vendasta expects you to deploy its products (for example reputation management, Local SEO and social media tools) for clients and resell them at your own markup.

How HighLevel's model works

HighLevel charges a flat plan fee. Client accounts on the Unlimited and Agency Pro plans are unlimited, and most core tools are included in every sub-account. You pay usage (texts, calls, email) from a wallet, and on Agency Pro you can rebill that usage to clients with a markup (HighLevel pricing guide). SaaS Mode lets you sell your own subscription plans with automated signup and provisioning (SaaS Configurator).

White-label depth

  • Vendasta: the Starter plan lists "co-branding with Vendasta." The feature table shows "White-label: add your own logo and rename Business App" and customized Business App domains starting on Professional (Vendasta pricing).
  • HighLevel: whitelabel login domain, logo and branded links are agency settings (HighLevel help); a mobile app under your own brand is a $497/month add-on (pricing).

Worked comparison (example only)

Suppose you want white-label resale for 5 clients and you work alone.

  • HighLevel Agency Pro: $497/month platform fee, month to month. Each client's usage can be rebilled.
  • Vendasta Professional: $499/month minimum with a 1-year contract, 5 seats included. If your qualifying product spend for those 5 clients reaches $499, the minimum is covered by that spend; if it does not, you pay the difference.

The headline numbers are close. The difference is what you sell, whether you want a contract, and whether you prefer to configure your own product or activate pre-built ones.

Who should pick which

HighLevel suits you if:

  • You want to build and sell your own branded CRM product for a niche
  • You want month-to-month terms and unlimited team members
  • You are comfortable building or buying snapshots and configuring automations

Vendasta suits you if:

  • You want a catalog of ready-to-sell products with wholesale pricing
  • Your clients need listings, reputation and local SEO products more than a CRM they use daily
  • A one-year contract for white-label features is acceptable

Neither choice is permanent, but switching platforms after you have clients is painful. Use both trials before you commit. See the full white-label CRM comparison for SuiteDash, Simvoly and DashClicks too.

Frequently asked questions

Is Vendasta cheaper than HighLevel?

At the entry level they are within a few dollars ($99 Vendasta minimum vs $97 HighLevel Starter). For white-label resale, Vendasta Professional is a $499/month minimum with a 1-year contract, and HighLevel Agency Pro is $497/month with no long-term contract. What you end up paying depends on what you resell and how much usage your clients generate.

Does Vendasta include white-labeling on the Starter plan?

Vendasta's pricing page lists co-branding with Vendasta on Starter; white-label branding and customized Business App domains are shown from the Professional plan up.

Can I use HighLevel and Vendasta together?

Technically yes, but most agencies pick one as the client-facing platform to avoid two logins, two bills and duplicate data.

Which has better reputation management?

Both include review management. Vendasta sells reputation management as a tiered product; HighLevel includes online reputation management in its core features. Try both with a real client's review profile before deciding.
