The basics

What is a white-label CRM?

CRM software built and hosted by one company and sold by another under its own brand. Your clients log in at your domain, see your logo and pay you; the vendor bills you wholesale. Read what is a white-label CRM.

How do resellers make money?

From the gap between what clients pay and what the platform, usage, payment processing and support cost. On some platforms you can also mark up usage such as texts and calls. Try the profit calculator.

Is reselling a CRM passive income?

No. Software revenue can grow without hiring for every client, but you still sell, onboard and support each account. Retention takes ongoing work; see reducing churn.

HighLevel SaaS Mode

What is HighLevel SaaS Mode?

A feature of HighLevel's Agency Pro plan that lets you sell your own subscription plans. A client buys a plan, and HighLevel creates their sub-account automatically with the features and snapshot you assigned. See how to start a SaaS agency with HighLevel.

How much does SaaS Mode cost?

It is included with Agency Pro at $497/month or $4,970/year. Usage such as texts, calls and email is billed separately. Full breakdown: SaaS Mode pricing explained.

Is SaaS Mode on the $297 plan?

No. HighLevel's pricing page lists SaaS Mode only on Agency Pro. Compare them in Agency Pro vs Unlimited.

Is there a free trial?

HighLevel offers a 14-day free trial on any plan. Billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel, and usage-based fees may apply during the trial.

Is this site run by HighLevel?

No. ResellerCRM is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by HighLevel LLC. We earn a commission if you buy through our links; see the affiliate disclosure.

Branding

Can my clients see that the software is HighLevel?

With a whitelabel login domain, your logo and branded links, the web app shows your brand. The standard mobile apps are HighLevel or LeadConnector branded; an app under your own name is a $497/month add-on. See rebranding HighLevel.

Do I need my own domain?

Yes, for a branded login. HighLevel recommends a subdomain such as app.youragency.com, set up with a CNAME record.

Billing and usage

Who pays for text messages and calls?

The platform charges your agency wallet. On HighLevel Unlimited and Agency Pro you can rebill clients at cost; on Agency Pro you can add a markup. HighLevel's published US SMS rate is $0.00747 per segment plus carrier fees.

Can clients pay me by card automatically?

Yes. In HighLevel SaaS Mode, plans are billed through Stripe (SaaS V1) or a supported payment provider on an agency sub-account (SaaS V2). Your processor charges its own fees, for example 2.9% + 30¢ per domestic card charge on Stripe's standard pricing.

Pricing and clients

What should I charge clients?

Enough to clear your cost floor and in line with the value you deliver for that niche. Use the method in how to price a white-label CRM.

How many clients do I need to break even?

Divide your fixed monthly costs by what each client contributes after payment fees. At $197/month per client on HighLevel Agency Pro, about three clients cover the $497 plan fee before your time. Use the calculator for your numbers.

Which niche should I choose?

One you know, where one customer is valuable, leads are easy to lose and owners already pay for software. See white-label CRM by niche.

How do I find the first clients?

Start with your network and existing clients, run honest audits, demo the core automation live and build referral partnerships. See finding your first clients.

Choosing a platform

Which white-label CRM is best?

It depends on what you sell. For a branded CRM subscription with automated signups, we recommend HighLevel Agency Pro. See the comparison of five platforms.

HighLevel or Vendasta?

HighLevel is a flat-fee platform you configure into your own product; Vendasta is a monthly minimum spent on products you resell, with white-labeling from the $499 plan on a 1-year contract. See HighLevel vs Vendasta.
